Beautiful, Lin! Both the Saluki and the album. What plug-in are you using here? It’s lovely!

Lin November 11, 2009 at 12:15 pm

Gayle, I use the NextGEN Gallery plugin for putting the images up and then there is a plugin for NextGEN called NexGEN Imageflow to add the effects you see on here. They also do a Flash one but I haven’t installed that yet. I’ll go and get the links and add them here.

Ah, I’ll have to play with Imageflow! I like the effect!

Of course, the effect looks even better when it revolves around such beautiful subject matter.

Have added the links to their pages to the comment below. Now to do Faiza’s then work out how to move the blog to the root of to act as my website. Have to take down the old files first! I saw instructions how to move WordPress to the root of your site, and it looked a bit complicated, but I can’t find the instructions!!!

Thank you, Lin!

As an alternative, if you can’t figure out how to do the move, you could also just upload a title page to your main directory that opens the blog when folks click Enter.

Saw Arya’s G2 picture from yesterday on FB. She looks LOVELY! I put a comment on FB but FB is not posting my comments for some reason. Congratulations on the lovely win.

Beautiful girl and beautiful site. What type of camera did you use for the lovely black and white photos. Arla

Lin November 29, 2009 at 1:14 pm

Arla my camera is a Nikon D90 and for this image I had an 80-400mm lens on it which was not entirely the right lens for a shot like this but with dogs, as you well know, you grab what you can, and my experience is if you take time out to swap out a lens they will have inevitably moved!

I am so sorry to hear about the problems with your female and her litter delivery. I wish I could help, but I have a female Afghanhound that isn’t due until next month. I was sent this beautiful viedo on your two dogs and the one thing I can say is what a gift it is to have that piece on her! Shawn Davis down here had a litter and I was to recive one of her pups. It didn’t happen, so if you should happen to want to sell a beautiful pup from what you have left, please let me know. I show, market and promote my dogs along with show horses Nationally. I raise American Saddlebreds. You can see some of my horses and pic’s of my dogs on facebook. I sent a friends requist to you. I am truilly sorry for your loss. What a beautiful set of dogs.
