Ryder wins at the National again

by Lin on December 4, 2011

Once again Ryder proves he is a breeder judges’ favourite when he wins his second National Award of Merit at the Saluki Club of America National Specialty held in Lexington, Kentucky in June 2011. Australian judge Stephen Wailes gave Ryder this prestigeous award from a Champion lineup of over 100 Salukis (total entry of over 400).

I am very proud of Ryder’s accomplishments and the accolades that he has received from fellow breeders, whether it be judges or ringside observers. All agree that he meets the Saluki Standard of a moderate hound ‘giving the impression of grace and symmetry and of great speed and endurance coupled with strength and activity to enable it to kill gazelle or other quarry over deep sand or rocky mountains. The expression should be dignified and gentle with deep, faithful, far-seeing eyes.’
